Brief history of Dr.Phurbu Tsering

Dr. PhurbuTsering did his primary education up to class X standard from Mount Everest School, Nepal.

In the year of 1995 he went to India for higher studies at Varanasi and 1997 he joined Central University of Tibetan Studies. He completed pre-university course comprising four years in Sanskrit, Hindi, Tibetan Buddhist Philosophy, Tibetan Grammar, Tibetan Astrology and Basic Tibetan Medicine. He then appeared for B.T.M.S. degree entrance examination and succeeded.

After completion of his XII standard, he went to obtain particular B.T.M.S. Degree. He studied and practiced traditional Tibetan systems of health and medicine for many years extensively and profoundly attained the highest level of excellence possible in his profession. During the internship period, he learnt Acupuncture, Massage and Yoga. In 2006, he graduated from Central University of Tibetan Studies and earned Bhot Ayurved Acharya Degree (equivalent to MenpaKachupa Degree) and consequently Joined Lhunkhang Tibetan Healing Centre at Majnu a Tilla, Delhi - 54 as a senior consultant since 2007.

His medical and scientific skills are acknowledged and respected both among the Tibetan community in exile in India and also in west. He often visits Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France.
